For Amateurs of The Da Vinci Code

Upon reception the packaging says that it's fragile. The pieces of wood look brittle and there are lots of construction defects like they decided that they were going to pick the bad pieces of wood willingly to save money instead of discarding them. There were many extra screws that served no purpose and I followed the instructions booklet very closely. The instruction booklet is poorly made, they will show a picture of a screw along with Q1/2/3... and 40, 60, 70, whatever that means is up to you... There were many extra screws that served no purpose and I followed the instructions booklet very closely. The instruction booklet is poorly made, they will show a picture of a screw along with Q1/2/3... and 40, 60, 70, whatever that means is up to you to figure out. They don't even bother including where some pieces go.

I've encountered many issues that I had to DIY: the middle part has two screws at the back so it can fold, but the two back seats also have screws in the same spot, which, well, forces you to remove them and keep the two screws to move the table otherwise you can't sit on the middle chair and said chair would be more elevated than the rest because it's resting on a couple of screws. There's a support bar behind the whole build, and they will show that there are four pegs for four holes, in reality there's two, and the other pegs that were there had no provided holes, so I had to scrap the two pegs with a saw. Under the seats there are four screws, but no holes were made, so I had to drill them. There are holes in the build that aren't even supposed to exist. At times I had to force to be able to put on a screw because of the quality of the materials. I had to drill other holes because the manual said there were supposed to be some, and it made sense.

Overall, and after a long time assembling and modding that thing, it works. You can sit on it, the table works (as long as you're careful not to slide it too much) and it doesn't look that bad. Two stars because it's not supposed to be a complicated assembly, shouldn't require modding, the materials are brittle and I'm sitting on it very carefully, it felt like the Outsunny didn't give a single damn about the end user and its experience, and the instructions manual needs to be completely redone because I would have wasted less time if I didn't have to decipher their Da Vinci Code. Put away
