Who can refer a friend?

You can now introduce your friends to Aosom.ca, get them a special discount for their first purchase, and earn discounts while you’re at it! By clicking on the “Invite” button you can generate a link to refer friends to Aosom.ca. We refer to your friends who joins Aosom.ca by following your introduction of Aosom.ca through this referral system as “Referee”. We refer to the user who refers friends using the referral system as “Referrer”.The referral system allows you to share the referral with your connections via the link (eg. via an email, text message, direct message on social media, etc). You agree to use the referral system only with personal friends and not publish a referral, or cause it to be published or distributed, on or via methods, platforms, and media where you have no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the readers or recipients are your personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, Wikipedia). You are required to obtain consents from your Referrals prior to referring them.

Eligible Users - Limited Time Only

This referral program is open to registered Aosom.ca users only, for a limited time, and we may withdraw or suspend this referral program (in whole or in part) at any time. The requirements and incentives are also subject to change at any time.

Earning, Receiving and Redeeming – I’ve referred a friend! What happens now?

- Your Referral (meaning a friend who successfully registers an Aosom.ca account and subscribes to our newsletter) will get a CA$10 referral reward that can be applied as a discount to a purchase on Aosom.ca. For each Successful Referral, you, as the Referrer, will receive a CA$20 referral reward. You can keep referring more friends!The maximum discount amount you can earn through this program is USD CA$200 in discount value. The discount is not redeemable for cash.

- When you are ready to make a purchase, use the “Convert to Coupon” button to redeem your referral reward into a coupon code that you can apply during checkout.

- You can use a coupon earned through this program on a single purchase, for a maximum discount of 50% of the order’s total value. The total value of your order must be equal to or greater than two times the discount amount of the coupon. For example, if you have a CA$40 coupon, the total value of your order must be CA$80 or more.

- The discount may not be used or combined with any other promotion, nor can it be used on Flash sale or Seckill products.

Successful Referral

A Successful Referral means a friend you have referred who successfully registers an account on Aosom.ca and subscribes to our newsletter.

Referrals Referred by Multiple Users

If your Referral was also referred by another user, you will earn a discount from that Referral only if the Referral registers based on your referral link. If your Referral uses another user's referral link from which they signed up, you will not receive the discount.

If You've Been Invited to Aosom.ca Via a Referral

If you register an Aosom.ca account and subscribe to our newsletter (you can subscribe during account creation, or at any time via My Account settings, or use the Join Our Newsletter signup in the bottom footer section on Aosom.ca), you will receive a CA$10 off discount coupon and the Referrer will receive a CA$20 discount and we will notify your Referrer that they earned this credit due to your purchases. However, we will not share with the Referrer details about your purchases.

Important Disclaimers

We reserve the right to suspend your account and remove referrals shopping credit entitlement should we notice any activity we determine contrary to the Referral Program terms and conditions or the Aosom.ca Terms of Service by the Referrer and/or Referral. We retain the right to investigate the participation in the Referral Program for any fraudulent activities and take any measures to end them. This includes but is not limited to any form of fake account creation. We reserve the right to amend or suspend this Referral Program at any time without notice.
