Great cage

Bought this cage for my two baby(6wk) rats. Works perfect! Needed replacement parts because a few panels were defective, customer service was quick to help. My rats love running up and down the levels. The bottom pan wasn't as secure as I would like, so I ended up just putting black tape around it, and use a scoop to clean out the pan.

Great budget rat habitat

I have 4 rats who sleep in this cage, it's been a surprisingly great addition to our rat habitat. They are feisty little female rats who never let a cage hold them. This cage holds them well, they have no easy route of escape and the cage itself is easy enough to clean. The black floors are kind of annoying to take in and out to clean, but all in all a great budget rat habitat. I don't know how baby rats or mice, etc any smaller rodent would work in this cage as the bottom level does have an inch... Originally the cage could not be put together properly and so I have the top entrance on one side and the bottom entrance on the other side which leaves me continuously having to spend the cage to get to the level I need to get to The company offered me $30 back.... also my rats chewed a hole in the bottom plastic tray really quickly and 1 of them got free in the apartment since then I have been lucky enough to find her She's alive however skinnier than last time I saw her When the company was... Cost me an extra like 30 some odd dollars?? Can't really remember exactly how much anyways point is the company did their best and I am at this time now finally satisfied with the situation Put away

I love it and so do my rats

It was actually pretty easy to put together, but I guess having put together a lot of cheap furniture, I’m used to it. I did it in my hour lunch break. I just set all the pieces together how the directions and common sense suggested the belong and then followed the instructions. Definitely took a suggestion to put in the shelves before tightening the sides and adding the top. I’ve had no trouble with the pan gap, and I’m sure I could lessen that gap easily with a mallet.
