Read the directions backward
They want you to put it together at different angles and when you flip it around it falls apart. other than that mishap, it is a nice product. holds up to my cat’s destructive tendencies pretty well!

The 6 foot one is easy to assemble - the 10 foot one takes a lot longer to assemble
I have installed 2 of these awnings, both were well made. I recommend both the 6 footer and the 10 footer.Make sure you know what is involved with hanging one of these things on your wall.

Not as solid as my previous awning but a lot less expensive and I don't get a lot of wind in my yard so I'm not too concerned. The other reviews that say the assembly instructions are not clear are true but luckily I had a bit of awning experience. There are some good videos online to help but they don't follow the instructions step by step.It's not super complicated though so don't let that discourage you. My only disappointment was that it is much less water resistant than my previous awning but if you only need it for shade and not as a rain cover, it's a fine product. I actually shopped other more water proof awning fabrics in my neighborhood and they were quoted at more than $CAD 1000, so you get what you pay for , I suppose. Customer service was excellent. Delivery was great. Assembly was fine. I assembled in my living room first and that worked well. I put the front bar on the wrong way and changed it after it was mounted with little issues. I have no problem recommending this product.
