Aosom Review Activity Official Rules
1. Eligibility
The Aosom Review Activity is open exclusively to customers who have made a purchase. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
How to Participate: Visit aosom.ca, share your video review, and submit it successfully to join the activity.
Video Submission Period: Videos must be submitted within each calendar month (e.g., October 1, 2025, 12:00 AM – October 31, 2025, 11:59 PM).
Voting Period: Submitted videos will be open for voting from 12:00 AM on the 1st of the month until 11:59 PM on the 10th of the following month (e.g., October 1, 2025 – November 10, 2025).
Each item may only be entered once.
To ensure your video can be approved and displayed smoothly, please avoid uploading content that includes:
❌ Personal Privacy: Avoid capturing other people's faces or personal information in videos without their permission.
❌ Third-Party Content: Avoid using unauthorized music, video clips, or highlighting other brands.
❌ Irrelevant Content: Please ensure that the video content focuses closely on the product's actual user experience.
❌ Poor Video Quality: Blurry, excessively shaky, or out-of-focus footage that prevents viewers from clearly seeing product details, appearance, or usage.
❌ Poor Audio Quality: Background noise (e.g., wind, loud TV, crowd chatter) overwhelming narration, or audio that is too quiet to hear clearly.
❌ Prohibited Content: Any advertising, indecent, or offensive content.
Standard data rates may apply if you access the Website from your mobile device, and you are solely responsible for any such charges. Automated entries are prohibited and any use of automated devices will cause disqualification. Use of email addresses from disposable or temporary email address services, or email forwarding services, is prohibited and any attempt to enter using such an email address will be blocked. Only entries submitted with valid email addresses are eligible. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Promotion and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account holder of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant, provided they are otherwise eligible to enter the Promotion. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
2. License Grant
By submitting the Photo/video, you are granting Aosom the worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully-paid, non-exclusive, transferable right to use your Photo/video in any manner to be determined in Aosom's sole discretion, including but not limited to on its webpages, social media pages operated by Aosom (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok), promotional e-mails and advertisements, and in other marketing, promotional and advertising initiatives, in any media now or hereafter known. Aosom may use, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, combine with other materials, alter and/or edit your Photo in any manner in its sole discretion, with no obligation to you whatsoever. You grant Aosom the right to use your username, real name, image, likeness, caption, location or other identifying information in connection with any use of your User Content.
If you are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly-available winners' list.
3. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected each calendar month during the Activity Period. Potential monthly winners shall be selected after the 10th of the following month based on the highest number of video likes. Aosom's decision shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the activity. Eligible entries for a corresponding calendar month are not considered for any subsequent months. The potential winner for each calendar month during the Activity Period will be notified by email within five (5) business days of the Selection. If any potential winner fails to respond to the prize notification email within ten (10) days; or if a potential winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in Aosom's sole discretion. In the event that a potential prize winner is disqualified for any reason, Aosom reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate entrant who will also be selected randomly, even if the disqualified potential prize winner's name has already been publicly announced. Aosom is not responsible for any change of email address, phone number, mailing address, or other contact information of entrants.
4. Prizes
Each winner will receive a $200 Aosom voucher, which can be used for purchases on aosom.ca. The voucher may be combined with Aosom points and discount coupons. Note: Only one voucher may be used per order. The voucher is only valid for products under the AOSOM self-operated brand.
5. Release of Liability
By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that Aosom and its employees, contractors, officers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this activity or the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any prize.
Aosom is not responsible for:
-Incorrect or inaccurate entry information.
-Technical errors caused by systems, equipment, or human mistakes.
-Failures of internet, phone lines, hardware, software, or networks.
Aosom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the activity if fraud, viruses, bugs, or other causes beyond its control compromise the integrity of the contest.
