1. Eligibility
The Aosom Review Activity is open exclusively to customers who have made a purchase. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
How to Participate
Visit aosom.ca, share your video review, and submit it successfully to join the activity.
Submission & Voting Windows
Video Submission Period: Videos must be submitted within each calendar month (e.g., October 1, 2025, 12:00 AM – October 31, 2025, 11:59 PM).
Voting Period: Submitted videos will be open for voting from 12:00 AM on the 1st of the month until 11:59 PM on the 10th of the following month (e.g., October 1, 2025 – November 10, 2025).
Each item may only be entered once.
Content Guidelines
To ensure your video can be approved and displayed smoothly, please avoid uploading content that includes:
❌ Personal privacy: Avoid capturing other people's faces or personal information in videos without their permission.
❌ Third-party content: Avoid using unauthorized music, video clips, or highlighting other brands’ trademarks/logos.
❌ Irrelevant content: Ensure the video content focuses closely on the product's actual user experience.
❌ Poor video quality: Blurry, excessively shaky, or out-of-focus footage that prevents viewers from clearly seeing product details, appearance, or usage.
❌ Poor audio quality: Background noise (e.g., wind, loud TV, crowd chatter) overwhelming narration, or audio that is too quiet to hear clearly.
❌ Prohibited content: Any advertising, indecent, or offensive content.
Additional Entry Rules
Standard data rates may apply if you access the website from your mobile device, and you are solely responsible for such charges. Automated entries are prohibited. Use of disposable, temporary, or forwarding email addresses is not allowed. Only entries submitted with a valid email address are eligible.
Should multiple users of the same email account enter and a dispute arise, the “authorized account holder” will be considered the entrant, provided they are otherwise eligible. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the relevant domain. Aosom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
2. License Grant
By submitting your photo or video, you grant Aosom the worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid, non-exclusive, transferable right to use your content in any manner at Aosom’s sole discretion, including but not limited to on its webpages, social media pages operated by Aosom (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok), promotional emails and advertisements, and in other marketing, promotional, and advertising initiatives, in any media now known or hereafter developed.
Aosom may use, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, combine with other materials, alter, and/or edit your content in its sole discretion, with no obligation or compensation to you. You grant Aosom the right to use your username, real name, image, likeness, caption, location, or other identifying information in connection with any use of your content.
If you are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly available winners’ list.
3. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected each calendar month during the activity period. Potential monthly winners shall be determined after the 10th of the following month based on the highest number of video likes. Aosom’s decision is final and binding on all matters relating to the activity.
Eligible entries for a corresponding calendar month are not considered for subsequent months. Potential winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days of selection.
If any potential winner fails to respond within ten (10) days, or is found ineligible or non-compliant with these rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Aosom’s discretion—even if the original winner had already been publicly announced. Aosom is not responsible for any change of email address, phone number, mailing address, or other contact information of entrants.
4. Prizes
Each winner will receive a $200 Aosom voucher, which can be used for purchases on aosom.ca.
-The voucher may be combined with Aosom points and discount coupons.
-Only one voucher may be used per order.
-The voucher is valid only for Aosom-branded (self-operated) products.
5. Release of Liability
By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that Aosom and its employees, contractors, officers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this activity or the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any prize.
Aosom is not responsible for:
-Incorrect or inaccurate entry information.
-Technical errors caused by systems, equipment, or human mistakes.
-Failures of internet, phone lines, hardware, software, or networks.
Aosom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the activity if fraud, viruses, bugs, or other causes beyond its control compromise the integrity of the contest.
