The unit requires two people to assemble but goes together well. Covered my patio during sunny days and adds hours of enjoyment after high noon.Very sturdy and survived Hurricane Fiona in one piece.

Instructions suck.
The awning itself is of good quality. The supplied instructions aren't descriptive enough for orientation of parts. Once I watched a Youtube vid. on assy. it went together much easier. All in all, It looks good, does the job, great quality, would order again.

A STURDY AND PLEASING PRODUCT
Exhaustive searching on awnings and the positive reviews of this product by others led me to make this purchase. It arrived within a couple days of order (Aosom email communication was good). I put it together the next day in 2 hours. I’m a 67 year old fit woman, not that this matters, and it went together like a charm. I used my garage as my workspace, placed a clean tarp on the floor, inverted plastic storage bins on top of each other (3 stacks) to bring my assembly area to waist height, checked...

I put it together the next day in 2 hours. I’m a 67 year old fit woman, not that this matters, and it went together like a charm. I used my garage as my workspace, placed a clean tarp on the floor, inverted plastic storage bins on top of each other (3 stacks) to bring my assembly area to waist height, checked off the items sent and laid them in organized groupings on floor. I read many reviews that mentioned the instructions being a bit difficult. Maybe this issue was resolved because my instructions, step by step were pretty much idiot proof. Even while assembling this awning, I was amazed at the quality and design. It’s a sturdy and pleasing product. One instruction I made serious note of was the recommendation to leave the arms tied together as long as possible. I did use a tradesman to install the bolts on the wall of my house as this was not in my skill set. We lifted the assembled awning into place, secured the unit and then finally cut the ties on the arms (we were prepared for a bit of spring back and this occurred without issue). Adjusting the slant of the awning was accessible and very easy. I am so happy with my purchase and the ease of getting to the finished result. I want to thank the people before me for their reviews and I want to thank Aosom for an awesome product.
