Assembly Instructions
Follow the steps below carefully to ensure correct assembly, stable operation, and proper lighting functionality for your Outsunny 8.8 ft Solar Powered Outdoor Patio Umbrella.
Step 1: Connect the Umbrella Frame, Pole, and Solar Panel

- Identify the Upper Umbrella Frame (A), Lower Support Pole (B), and Solar Panel Unit (C).
- Align the bottom connector of the upper umbrella frame (A) with the top opening of the lower support pole (B).
- Press the spring button marked “PUSH” on the lower support pole (B) and slide it into the upper umbrella frame (A) until it clicks and locks into place.
- Place the Solar Panel Unit (C) onto the top of the umbrella frame.
- Rotate and press the solar panel in the direction shown in the diagram until it is fully seated and secure.
Step 2: Open the Umbrella and Set the LED Light Mode

- Turn the integrated crank handle on the pole in the direction shown to gradually open the umbrella canopy.
- Continue cranking until the canopy is fully extended and the fabric is taut, ensuring the ribs are evenly aligned.
- Locate the LED control button on the pole or rib, as indicated in the diagram.
- Press the button to cycle through the four available light colours: red, blue, green, and warm light.
- To test the lights, ensure the solar panel is in a dark area or covered, as the LEDs are designed to turn on automatically at dusk.
Step 3: Adjust the Umbrella Tilt Angle

- Locate the tilt button on the upper section of the umbrella pole.
- Press and hold the button marked “PUSH” to unlock the tilt mechanism.
- While holding the button, gently tilt the umbrella canopy in the direction needed for shade.
- Adjust the canopy gradually until the desired tilt angle is reached.
- Release the button to lock the canopy securely in position.
- Check that the tilt mechanism is fully engaged and the canopy does not move freely.
Step 4: Adjust the Umbrella Tilt to the Opposite Side

- Locate the tilt button on the upper section of the umbrella pole as shown above.
- Press and hold the button marked “PUSH” to release the tilt mechanism.
- While holding the button, gently tilt the umbrella canopy toward the opposite side.
- Move the canopy slowly until the desired tilt angle is reached.
- Release the button to lock the canopy securely in the new position.
- Check that the canopy remains stable and does not shift after releasing the button.
Step 5: Close the Umbrella and Complete Assembly

- Locate the crank handle on the umbrella pole, as shown in the diagram.
- Turn the crank handle slowly in the opposite direction to begin closing the umbrella canopy.
- Continue cranking until the canopy folds evenly around the pole.
- Ensure all ribs move inward smoothly and align properly during closing.
- Fully close the umbrella until the fabric hangs neatly without twisting.
Final Step

- Fully retract the canopy using the crank handle when not in use.
- Ensure the fabric is completely dry before closing to prevent moisture buildup.
- Store the umbrella in a dry, well-ventilated area when not in use for extended periods.
